How Our Seasonal Tyre Swap Service Works
If you already own two sets of tyres — typically one set of summer tyres and one set of winter or all-season tyres on separate wheels — our seasonal swap service makes the changeover quick and effortless. We come to your home or workplace, remove the current set of wheels and tyres, fit the seasonal set, and store the old set safely in your garage or shed. The whole job takes around 30–45 minutes and includes a check of tyre pressures, tread depth, and general tyre condition on both sets.
The ideal time to fit winter tyres in Northamptonshire is when overnight temperatures consistently drop below 7°C — typically in October or November. The switch back to summer tyres is usually most appropriate from late March or April, when temperatures reliably stay above 7°C. We recommend booking your seasonal swap in advance as demand is high during these peak periods.
